Pulse Metric, Inc. is supporting worldwide clinical research to fight against hypertension and related cardiovascular diseases. Since the year 2000 when, lead by Dr. S.S. Chio, Pulse Metric, Inc. initiated its “WHATOHL (World Hypertension Administration Toward a Healthier Life)” program, it has supported many research projects in the US and overseas, including the BOGALUSA Heart Study of Tulane University, the TROPHY study of University of Michigan, the SWAN study of Pittsburgh University, the “Gin-San” Study of National Taiwan University Hospital, the China Hypertension baseline study directed by Dr. L.L. Sun, MD of Beijing Zen-Ming Hospital and Chinese Hypertension Society, the Multi-task hypertension study directed by Dr. Antonio Delgado-Almeida, MD, in Venezuela, and a remote area clinical study directed by Dr. Makoto Ozaki, MD, PhD, of Tokyo women’s Medical University, Tokyo, Japan, etc. In China, Dr. Sun has been able to conduct clinical studies at rural and remote provinces, near Tibet, in China, using Pulse Metric’s Internet DynaPulse Analysis (DAC) service.
